In digital age, with the rapid development of information technology, school education worldwide is facing the challenges of developing new and alternative approaches to broaden students’ world vision and to integrate global issues into curriculum and instruction for the learning generation of digital natives. The 2014 international conference on Global Education for Digital Natives: Prospects and Reflections (2014 GEDN) will be held on May 23-24, 2014 in New Taipei City, Taiwan. This conference is for researchers, educators, policy makers from Taiwan and abroad to discuss and share research and experiences on theories, practices, and issues on global education.

Call for Papers and Presentations:
Abstracts: Please submit a maximum 250 words abstract on line at http://2014globalEd.cte.tku.edu.tw/ before February 28, 2014. The abstract will be refereed by the Conference Committee and the acceptance notification will reach the author(s) by March 7, 2014.
Full Papers:
If you wish to present a paper at this conference, with the acceptance letter of the abstract, you need to submit a full paper (up to 6000 words, English only) on line before April 15, 2014. The accepted papers will be announced by April 25, 2014. The accepted papers will be allocated to oral presentation or poster presentation.

Deadline for submission of abstracts: February 28, 2014
Notification of abstract acceptance: March 7, 2014
Deadline for submission of full papers: April 15, 2014
Notification of full paper acceptance: April 25, 2014

The abstract and full paper should be sent as MS Word document with Times New Roman 12 point fount and single spacing with the following information:
Author information: author name(s), author(s) affiliation, email address
Abstract information (maximum 250 words): title, significance, aim, method, results
Full paper information (maximum 6000 words): Abstract (no longer than 250 words), subject/problem, Design/Procedure, Finding/Analysis, Contribution to Global Education.
