二、主講者：李怡青老師(Customer Service Manager, HUMPIT HUMMUS LIMITED)

This presentation focuses on the use of English Medium Instruction (EMI) in non-native English-speaking educational contexts. While EMI offers valuable opportunities for language development between students and teachers of different cultures and nationalities, it also presents many diverse significant challenges. These include issues related to language proficiency, classroom engagement and comprehension of content. The session will highlight practical strategies to overcome these challenges, drawing on the speaker’s own teaching experiences.

There will be a range of varied topics presented which will allow audience participants to explore strategies that make English more accessible and less intimidating. The speaker will share how introducing linguistic elements supports student understanding and engagement in EMI contexts.
