邀請泰國農業大學環工系教授 Pongsak (lek) Noophan 蒞校演講，講題為
Inhibition of Anammox Bacteria by Addition of Antibiotics (Chloramphenicol and Oxytetracycline) Comparison of Attached-and Suspended-Growth 。
泰國農業大學（Kasetsart University）是泰國國立綜合大學中享有盛譽的學府之一，擁有悠久的歷史，是泰國唯一的國立農業大學，該校在泰國所有大學中排名第四。Pongsak (lek) Noophan博士為該校環境工程系教授，是厭氧氨氧化技術（anaerobic ammonia oxidation process；anammox）領域的專家。從2008年開始，已發表超過20篇與anammox相關的研究論文。他的研究專注於氨氧化細菌（ammonia-oxidizing bacteria，AOB）和厭氧氨氧化菌，深入研究了游離氨（FA）和游離亞硝酸（FNA）濃度對於anammox處理廢水產生一氧化二氮（N2O）溫室氣體的影響。Pongsak (lek) Noophan博士積極參與國際水學會（International Water Association，IWA）的相關會議，並主辦數個關於anammox相關研究技術的研討會，包括2018年的國際水學會區域水再利用會議（IWA reuse 2018, Phuket, Thailand），2019年的Deammonification 2019會議，以及2022年的IWA Biofilm Conference 2022。
