Our Kaohsiung Medical University USR team collaborates with local schools in Namasia and international partners, including the University of the Philippines System and other Philippine universities, to foster a sustainable, community-led economy for marginalized sectors. Students from Namasia and the Philippines play a pivotal role in establishing and managing local startups, bringing expertise to sustainable business ventures that promote environmentally-friendly economic growth. These initiatives facilitate resource exchange between regions and cultivate human capital leaders capable of addressing challenges in education, healthcare, and local economics. Inspired by ecology, this human capital ecological corridor, established by universities, empowers students from Namasia, KMU, and the Philippines to drive the ownership of local solutions, merging cultural wisdom with international insight for enduring economic revitalization.
