Title: Impact on Social Sciences and its Future Development in the Age of AI.

【Speaker Introduction】
Professor Kazuo Asano is currently the Vice President of Heisei International University. In addition to his academic research and administrative duties, he is actively involved in local government administrative reforms and local autonomy affairs. He has long served as the chairman and advisor of various administrative reform committees and local autonomy promotion committees at different levels of government in Japan, fulfilling the university's social responsibility.
Moreover, Professor Kazuo Asano specializes in East Asian geopolitics and places great emphasis on the impact of AI development on social science research. Through this lecture, our faculty and students will be able to gain insights from different perspectives, deeply understand the collaboration and conflicts between academic research and practical implementation, and learn how to contemplate the frontier developments in social sciences amidst the wave of AI advancements.

【活動介紹】
邀請日本平成國際大學淺野和生教授蒞校擔任熊貓講座講者。淺野和生教授目前擔任平成國際大學副校長，除學術研究與行政工作外，還積極投入地方政府行政改革及地方自治事務，並長期擔任日本各級政府行政改革委員會及地方自治推進委員會之會長及顧問職務，履行大學社會責任。同時，淺野和生教授專精東亞地緣政治，並重視AI人工智慧發展對社會科學研究的衝擊。透過本次講座，讓本校師生能夠博採不同觀點，深刻體認學術研究及實務推動之間的相互配合與衝突陣痛，並學習如何在AI人工智慧浪潮下，思索社會科學的前沿發展。
